The receptionist, Elizabeth, always greets everyone with a smile and a big hello. The atmosphere is always calm and relaxed, and that helps a lot because a clear and relaxed mind helps the body to heal. From the start I was given the one on one attention I needed for my recovery since my surgery. The same attention is given to all patients there and that's a plus because I've been to other Physical Therapists only to be herded in like cattle's two or three at a time. “I went to Aristos Physical Therapy for pain in my hip and thumb due to an accident. Physical Therapy was recommended by my orthopedic doctor. I was doubtful at first about how therapy could help. Mr. Wallington took the time to explain my injury in great detail and further explained how he could help the pain. Each session that I attended helped to ease the pain in my hip and hand. He also gave me exercises that I could do at home that helped to relieve the pain in my hip. The experience was pleasant and has greatly helped to reduce my pain. I have been to several Physical Therapists before in my lifetime. I have to say that Charles and Shandrika have treated me like a part of the family since day one! When you walk in the office they always give a warm welcome and smiles all around; I feel comfortable talking about anything from football (Redskins, Ha Ha) to the kids and family life. I never had a problem setting an appointment to see Charles; they always made room for my visit. Even though I am seeing him for a Workman comp case, I know I will need additional therapy; so, I will be asking my doctor if I can use Charles because I am so comfortable as to him being my doctor. I am big on personality, and in the future I will refer Shandrika and Charles to any of my family and friends and also strangers who needs therapy. Coming to Mr. Charles Wallington has helped my back pains subside. He was very nice and did everything to ensure that I was comfortable. He taught me exercises to do to help keep the pain away later on and in the future. This was my first time at a Physical Therapist office, and it was a great experience. Mr. Wallington has been a God-send to me. After dealing with multiple trips to the emergency room and doctors telling me that they didn't know what else to do, Mr. Wallington took over the situation and did not stop until he found the solution to my issues. Having such drive in problem solving makes it less of a strain to function on a day to day basis. I now see the light at the end of the tunnel. His perseverance is a quality that I wish more doctors would have; caring for patients has diminished in healthcare. I was referred to Mr. Wallington from my orthopedic doctor. When I first started with Mr. Wallington I was in an extreme amount of pain. I had spent time out of work, because being on my feet made my knee even worse and all the medication the orthopedic doctor prescribed wasn't working. Mr. Wallington had me coming to see him every week for three times a week, and then we lessened my visits to two times and finally to one time a week. He was very helpful and worked with me from getting around my work schedule to understanding and getting to the source of my pain. He is an amazing, uplifting individual with a special gift and I thank him for healing my knee. Even though my knee is pain- free he still gave me a list of things I can do to maintain my ability to move my knee pain free. I want to thank you so much. - Christina Otis
